If you decide not to pay, you will still take the risk of facing high end teams like Barcelona early who will put in a stellar performance. If you spend your hard earned money to upgrade your squad to gold with 100 chemistry and a rating over 75, a low level team from a low league will make your team look like children and your efforts useless.
